Access for All
I am committed to providing the best care possible to all clients regardless of their backgrounds, race, color, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, weight, and health status. I strive to always be learning best practices and staying up-to-date with current research and education. Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to be more inclusive as I am determined to break down the walls that prevent individuals from seeking and accessing healthcare.
Many people have a negative association with seeing a Registered Dietitian or nutritionist. They think that we will tell you to throw out all of your “junk” food and eat only “healthy” foods that probably taste like cardboard. Well, I’m here to let you know that I will never tell you what to eat. In fact, most of us RDs will not!
My goal is always to work with you to determine your personal nutrition and health needs and the best ways to empower you to fit healthy habits into your desired lifestyle. I will discuss attitudes, experiences, and societal influences around food and body weight to support you in shifting your mindset about healthy eating into a positive experience focused on improving functional health, quality of life, and longevity.
